Thousands of Mercedes inevitably Withdraw Benz M-Klasse

German car manufacturer, Mercedes Benz, was forced to withdraw thousands of products car type sport utility vehicle (SUV), they are called as -Klasse ecause it encountered problems in the system Cruise control.

As quoted from autoevolution, Thursday (06/07/2011) manufacturers are bearing the star draw 136,751 units of M-Class is made betwee​nthe years 2000-2002 and M-Class AMG produced from 2000-2004.


As is known, Cruise control is a feature that automatically makes the car drove in a fixed velocity (constant) without the driver stepping on the gas pedal. To activate it normally live press cruise control lever.

Mercedes Party in his report to the Traffic Safety Board and the American Highway or National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) explained that they had discovered a problem with cruise control in which its users will find it hard to turn off this feature. Typically, the CT features will automatically shut off so stepped on the brake pedal.

But according to Mercy about it (off CT) can be done manually by using the existing cruise control stalk on the steering wheel. NHTSA said that the difficulties or delays in deadly cruise control system can increase the risk of accidents.

Mercedes-Benz M-Klasse is exactly equipped by 4-door SUV with light off-road capability, firstly offered in 1997, and built in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.
